About Me

I am Yizhuo Lu(卢一卓), a second year Ph.D. student at Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences(中国科学院自动化研究所), supervised by Prof. Huiguang He.

My research interest lies in visual neural decoding technology, also known as mind-reading. Currently, I have developed controllable and interpretable algorithms for decoding static images and dynamic videos based on large pre-trained multimodal models, all of which are tailored to individual subjects. To broaden the application of this technology in natural settings, I will continue to explore its adaptability across subjects and datasets.

I serve as a reviewer for international conferences and journals including IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging (TMI), IEEE Transactions on Cognitive and Developmental Systems (TCDS), ICLR, ICCV, ACM MM. I have been collaborating with Dr. Changde Du and Dr. Liuyun Jiang on research projects.     I was selected for the CASIA Artificial Intelligence Elite Class (20/2050) and interned in Professor Huiguang He’s research group. My internship project won the first prize in the 2022-2023 Science and Innovation Program.

    I achieved a ranking of 2nd out of 64 with an average score of 91.16/100. I was awarded the highest scholarship in the School of Mathematics and Statistics: the Fei Zhenyong Scholarship (5/300). Additionally, I received the honors of “Outstanding Graduate of Beijing” and “Outstanding Graduate Thesis of Beijing.”
